FRP Composite Tank with Loading & Unloading Ports | High Efficiency & Durable Water Treatment Vessel

Jun. 20, 2026

FRP filter tanks serve as the core component of complete systems for pure water softening, industrial filtration, wastewater treatment and other applications. Conventional tanks require disassembly of valves and water distributors every time filter media is filled or replaced. Such cumbersome operations easily damage accessories and greatly raise operation and maintenance costs.

Today we introduce our newly upgraded FRP composite tank with feed and discharge ports. Developed to streamline filter media replacement and enhance tank durability, this product holds multiple authoritative certifications and is suitable for all kinds of complex water treatment working conditions.

01 Four Core Advantages Solving Key Industry Pain Points

Selling Point 1: High Pressure & High Toughness with Outstanding Safety Performance

The tank supports two standard working pressures: 125 PSI and 150 PSI. It has passed 240,000 cyclic fatigue hydraulic tests and burst pressure tests over 4 times the rated working pressure, resisting deformation and cracking under long-term pressurized operation.

Its outer structure is reinforced with epoxy resin and wound fiberglass, featuring excellent impact resistance and water pressure resistance. It delivers stable and reliable continuous industrial operation, effectively eliminating safety hazards such as tank rupture and liquid leakage.

Selling Point 2: Seamless Sanitary Inner Liner – Impermeable, Durable & Easy to Clean

The interior adopts food-grade rotational-molded HDPE liner, non-toxic and odor-free, safe for pure water systems and food processing water treatment applications.

The 6-inch top & bottom main flanges and 4-inch loading/unloading port flanges are integrally rotational-molded with the PE liner without any splicing seams. This minimizes leakage risks, ensures even pressure distribution across the tank, and delivers long-term corrosion resistance without delamination.

Selling Point 3: Separate Loading & Unloading Flanges – No Valve Disassembly Required for Media Replacement

The tank’s core innovative design comes with independent 4-inch / 6-inch aviation aluminum flanges for top filling and bottom discharging:

✅ Top filling port: Directly add resin, activated carbon, quartz sand and other filter media without removing control valves or water distributors

✅ Bottom discharge port: Empty filter media rapidly and effortlessly without disassembling bottom fittings

It drastically cuts equipment maintenance time, prevents wear on valves and water distributors caused by frequent disassembly and assembly, and lowers long-term accessory replacement costs.

Selling Point 4: Modified Aviation Aluminum Flanges Compatible with Complex Media

All 4-inch and 6-inch flanges are made of modified aviation aluminum material, featuring oxidation resistance and acid & alkali corrosion resistance. They remain stable in harsh environments including chemical wastewater and high-salinity water, preventing flange rust and leakage and greatly extending the tank’s service life.

02 Full Range of Specifications, Versatile for Multiple Scenarios

Size Range: 30 inch – 80 inch, tank diameter 750mm–2000mm, covering equipment from small water purifiers to large industrial water treatment systems.

03 Applicable Industries & Scenarios

Water plants & commercial water softening equipment for residential communities

Industrial circulating water, electroplating wastewater and chemical filtration systems

Food & beverage production, pharmaceutical purified water treatment

Large-scale sewage treatment and reclaimed water reuse filtration equipment

Traditional FRP tanks require disassembly of valves and water distributors every time filter media is filled or replaced. The complicated operation easily damages spare parts and raises long-term operation and maintenance costs.

This composite tank with independent loading and unloading ports simplifies maintenance procedures via optimized structural design. Equipped with a high-strength tank body and sanitary-grade inner liner, it balances safety, practicality and cost-effectiveness. It is a widely adopted tank solution for water treatment equipment manufacturers and engineering contractors.
