In reverse osmosis water treatment systems, the compliance and durability of membrane housings directly determine the operational stability and service life of the entire equipment. Today we introduce the Winder® 4-inch side-port FRP membrane housing from two core aspects: compliance certification and durable performance.

Ⅰ.Full pressure range coverage for diverse working conditions

Winder® 4-inch side-port FRP membrane housings are split into low-pressure and high-pressure series to fully meet pressure requirements across varied water treatment applications. They accommodate 1 to 5 RO membrane elements and fit 4-inch RO membranes from leading global brands including DOW, HYDRANAUTICS, OSMONICS, KOCH, TORAY, CSM, VONTRON and VONTRON, BDX with no custom modification required for quick installation.

Low-Pressure Series (300PSI / 450PSI)

Designed for medium & low-pressure applications such as brackish water desalination, reclaimed water reuse and drinking water purification. Feed / concentrate ports adopt 1" specification, while permeate outlet is 3/4" NPT, matching standard pipeline layout of conventional RO systems.

High-Pressure Series (600 / 1000 / 1200PSI)

Engineered for high-pressure working conditions including seawater desalination, high-salinity wastewater treatment and concentration separation. Its permeate outlet is available in two external thread options: 1/4" NPT and 1/2" BSP, catering to special piping configurations for high-pressure systems.

II. Robust Durability Ensures Long-Term Stable Operation

As the core pressure-bearing component of water treatment systems, Winder® 4-inch side-port membrane housings undergo rigorous durability certification to reliably sustain long-term service under harsh working conditions:

High Standard Pressure Resistance

Manufactured in strict compliance with ASME standards, the housings feature a burst pressure over six times the design working pressure, fundamentally preventing leakage or rupture under high-pressure service and safeguarding system operational safety.

Excellent Fatigue & Impact Resistance

Qualified via 120,000-cycle hydraulic fatigue testing. The housings withstand recurring shocks caused by system startup/shutdown and pressure fluctuations, effectively cutting long-run breakdown rates and extending overall equipment service life.

Wide Environmental Compatibility

Working pH range: 3–11; operating temperature: -10℃ ~ 66℃, compatible with feed water containing weak acid/alkali and varied ambient temperatures. Standard color is white; custom color options are available to satisfy customized project requirements.

III. Authoritative Compliance Certifications & Full-Process Quality Control

All product ranges have obtained multiple authoritative certifications with mature production and quality control systems, enabling reliable application in various industrial and municipal water treatment projects:

ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification

ISO14001 Environmental Management System Certification

EU CE Safety Certification

Products hold official drinking-water-related sanitary approval certificates and comply with access specifications for water-contact projects.

IV. Original Factory Supporting Parts for Easy Installation & Maintenance

To guarantee installation precision and later maintenance efficiency, Winder supplies a full set of genuine dedicated accessories matched to its 4-inch side-port membrane housings of different pressure grades:

Low-pressure series is equipped with exclusive end caps, O-rings, retainer rings, mounting brackets and fasteners for precise fitting, ensuring reliable sealing and convenient installation under low-pressure service.

For high-pressure series, customized high-pressure end caps, heavy-duty sealing assemblies and reinforced brackets are engineered with optimized sealing and fixing structure to prevent seal failure during prolonged high-pressure operation.

All accessories adopt standardized dimensions for direct installation and replacement without extra modification, cutting after-sale maintenance cost and improving operation & servicing efficiency.
